Welcome to our Return Policy page, where we're not Jeff Bezos, but we'll do our best to make it right.

Our No-Questions-Asked Return Policy

1. Return Period:
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your items. That’s right—30 days to decide if your new book is a page-turner or if it’s better suited for the back of your closet. (Or instead of buying it, you could read it for free from your local library. If your library doesn't have it yet, you can request they get a copy!)

2. Condition of Items:
We kindly ask that items be returned in their original condition. That means no dog-eared pages, no coffee stains (unless it’s an artisanal blend!), and no mud from your latest hike. Just like you wouldn’t want to return that shirt with last week’s spaghetti sauce on it, we ask you to send back items in their pre-spaghetti state.

3. How to Return:

• Step 1: Send us an email with your order number at returns@hereforthetaking.com, or send a carrier pigeon if you’re feeling adventurous. (Just kidding—please use email.)
• Step 2: We’ll provide you with a return label. Print it and stick it on your package.
• Step 3: Ship it back to us and wait for your refund.

4. Refund Process:
Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

5. Exceptions:
Some items can’t be returned, including but not limited to:

• Gift cards (just kidding, we don't even sell gift cards.)
• Customized items (because who wants to break up with their personalized coffee mug?).
• Items marked as “final sale” (because it said final).

FAQs: Your Questions Answered!

Q: What if my dog eats my book?
A: We at Here For The Taking love dogs, so if your dog eats your copy, we're happy to replace it. Send us what's left of your dog-eaten copy with a photo of your furry friend and we'll ship out a new copy ASAP.

Q: What if my item is damaged?
A: If your item arrives looking like it survived a battle, please let us know within 7 days of delivery. We’ll work our magic and make it right—like a superhero for your shopping experience!
